A new visual signature and a new website for St-Guillaume cheeses, aiming to stand out in a competitive market where imported cheeses are increasingly common
Saint-Guillaume, October 2, 2019 – We are very pleased to present the new brand image for St-Guillaume cheeses and, at the same time, to announce the launch of our brand-new website stguillaume.com. Distribution of the new packaging to retailers will begin on Monday, October 7, 2019, and the rollout will take place gradually through the end of December.
We believe it is essential for our company to have a clearly identifiable brand image and to evolve it over time.
“This allows Fromagerie St-Guillaume to continue to be viewed positively by the public, while also standing out in a constantly evolving competitive market,” says Nathalie Frenette, General Manager of La Coop Agrilait, which owns the cheese factory.
We were looking for a more effective way to quickly catch the eye of consumers who make their choice in just a few seconds among a wide range of products. Many new packages are currently appearing, due in part to the increase in imported cheeses following recent international agreements.
A trusted partner
We worked closely with Larouche Marketing Communication to modernize our brand image and create the new website. We brought everything up to date while preserving what we’ve built, placing great importance on:
- Preserving the unmistakable P’tit Frais signature and the legendary St-Guillaume blue associated with our fresh daily cheddars, in curds and blocks;
- Adding the Canadian Milk logo (blue cow) on all eligible products;
- Adding a clear label to easily identify lactose-free cheeses.

A few new additions!
A launch is the perfect time to announce what’s new! In the coming days, you’ll notice the arrival of a strong shredded and sliced cheddar. We’re also very happy to add a light Swiss to our product lineup. This reduced-fat product contains 35% less fat than regular Swiss and will be offered in a block, sliced, and shredded—so you can create a guilt-free version of your favourite dishes.

New cheese factory logo and new St-Guillaume brand
The fresh cheese
You read that right! “The fresh cheese” is the new advertising tagline that will accompany our cheese factory’s communications. Three short, catchy words that quickly highlight the great quality of our (real) cheeses, as well as the unbeatable freshness of our cheddar curds Le P’tit Frais, the flagship product of Fromagerie St-Guillaume since 1940.

New website—a must!
Creating the new website stguillaume.com, dedicated exclusively to Fromagerie St-Guillaume, was a must! Designed for today’s digital world, the new website was built in “ responsive” format to display optimally on all devices (tablet, smartphone, desktop computer, etc.). Simple, clean, organized, and modern—like our new packaging—the site now offers a better experience and clear information for users.
We’re hiring!
We’re especially proud of the La Coop Agrilait and Careers sections, where we showcase our valued employees and historical photos of our cooperative; it’s our DNA and our story. We’re convinced the overall quality of the website will help strengthen the confidence and trust of those who apply to work with us.

Fromagerie St-Guillaume would like to thank all its customers, distributors, employees, and cooperative members, as well as Larouche Marketing Communication—thanks to whom we have the great pleasure today of adding this wonderful chapter to the history of La Coop Agrilait, which will celebrate its 80th anniversary in 2020!
