Friendship Salad with St-Guillaume Fresh Cheddar and Pretzels

It’s sometimes called winter salad, crunchy salad, friendship salad, or even love salad, but one thing is for sure: you’ll fall in love with this reimagined St-Guillaume version! The addition of daily fresh cheese makes it a meal salad, and the pretzel pieces as croutons make it completely irresistible…

For 185 ml of dressing

  • 60 ml (1/4 cup) vegetable oil
  • 125 ml soy sauce
  • 5 ml (1 tsp) minced garlic, to taste

The Base

  • Baby spinach (about 2 cups per person)
  • Bean sprouts
  • Cremini mushrooms, roughly sliced
  • A few celery stalks, sliced
  • Green onions, sliced
  • Red bell pepper, diced

The St-Guillaume Touch

  • First, combine the dressing ingredients, shake well, then set aside.
  • Then, simply assemble each salad with your desired amount of vegetables, garnish with cheese and pretzels, and drizzle with a little dressing.
  • Store any leftover dressing in the refrigerator to make it again and again!
